The president of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama and his government has on Wednesday July 2, 2025 launched the 24-hour economy policy economy as He pledged during the campaign towards the 2024 elections.
As a result of this, the NDC communication officer in the Akontonbra constituency of the Western North region, Mr Ernest Ofosu Boakye has outlined the benefits that will be derived from the introduction of such policy specifically in the Western North region.
Speaking with the media, he said the policy will lead to job creation, also it will enhance productivity and will also boost tourism.
Mr. Ofosu Boakye in his speech said the government will ensure that the entire Ghanaians benefits from the policy but will not be politicized.
Finally Mr Ernest Ofosu Boakye called on Ghanaians especially residents in the Western North region to keep their trust in the John Mahama lead NDC government for more developmental projects in the region as He had promised already.
