A devastating fire outbreak has destroyed several shops and residential apartments in a one-storey building at the Jackson Park traffic light area in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
The fire, which started at about 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, completely razed the building, which housed Kwaku Showboy Boutique, Mama Pee Collection Costume and other commercial and residential spaces.
The intensity of the fire reportedly caused extensive damage to the structure and its contents before firefighters could bring the situation under control.
