Aspiring Parliamentary candidate for New Juaben South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Michael Okyere Baafi has emphasised his desire to help both the poor and the youth within the constituency makes him the game changer in politics.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, he has got a kind heart for people of Koforidua and has, therefore, vowed to continue providing support for the people.
He indicated that he did not come into politics for money but for the well being of the people in the constituency.
He lamented that he will do whatever is expected of him as a Member of Parliament for the constituency when given the mandate.
Mr Baafi affirmed that he will create more opportunities for the youth as he strongly believes that is the only way to go if the constituency is to see the development it deserves.
“I have helped the people of Koforidua and everybody knows it. We will continue to help whenever God give us the opportunity. We will also help the needy because I see it as the only way to go if we want the development of our people”.
“If we want to develop New Juaben, the only way is the human capital, so we will develop the human capital and also give them jobs to do because when they are able to get jobs they will be able to pay taxes for the government,” he said.
He affirmed that he wants to develop Koforidua unprecedentedly in the next four years.
He promised to help people who have skills to turn the fortunes of Koforidua around within a shortest possible time.
