The Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang has reiterated that clubs can send their proposals individually for government stimulus package since some of the clubs could fall under the scale of the small or medium industry.
According to him, the Ghana FA is a big institution that makes millions of dollars from World Cup participation, and this cannot be said to be a medium-scale industry.
“But some of the clubs could fall under the scale of Small or medium industry, but I can tell you football is not part of the package,” he said.
The FA is making a case on why the government must help ease the financial burden on the Association and the clubs, but the former Asante Akyem North member of Parliament says the Ghana FA is not a small or medium-scale institute.
Football has been suspended indefinitely due to the outbreak of the virus.
The FA is, however, expected to make a final decision on June 30
