Veteran coach J.E Sarpong has strongly hit back at Yahaya Mohammed insisting he has managed better players than the Aduana Stars striker.
The former Liberty Professionals coach recently alleged that majority of Ghanaian players smoke marijuana, popularly known as weed, and went on to give instances where he helped get weed for a top player of one of his former clubs ahead of a big game.
In spite of that, the Aduana Stars forward expressed displeasure about the coach false weed-smoking allegations against Ghanaian players in the local league and called on him to issue an apology to the players.
But the outspoken coach in an interview said that he (Yahaya) is not the one to tell him to apologize.
“I came out with what I have seen as a coach. If he does not understand he should continue to insult me. In-plane language, the kind of players that have passed through me are better him”
“Asamoah Gyan, Prince Owusu, Owusu Beyie and others are better than Yahaya Mohammed and so why do I follow him. He is not the one to tell me to apologize, who is he? He quizzed.
