Eastern Region has recorded 360 COVID -19 Recoveries with Nine deaths and with 234 Active cases as of 27th June 2020.
A report released by the Regional Health Directorate said a total of 604 cases have been recorded since March 2020.
The additional cases were reported by New Juaben South (9), Birim South (24), and Management of cases, and review of contacts is still ongoing in various districts while All cases are in good condition and responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, the cases have spread to 23 Districts in the Region and the new District which recorded case over the weekend is Upper West Akyem, which has a case.

Kwahu West – 179 cases, 63 recoveries.
Lower Manya Krobo – 125 cases, 85 recoveries
New Juaben South – 55 cases, 46 recoveries
Birim North – 43 cases, 16 recoveries

Nsawam Adoagyiri – 23 cases, 22 recoveries
Akwapim North – 22 cases, 19 recoveries
Asuogyaman – 21 cases, 20 recoveries
West Akim – 21 cases, 20 recoveries
Denkyembour -18 cases, 17 recoveries
New Juaben North – 18 cases, 7 recoveries
Birim Central – 13 cases, 12 recoveries
Abuakwa North – 9 cases, 8 Recoveries
Fanteakwa North – 6 cases, 6 recoveries
Achiase – 4 cases, 2 recoveries
Suhum – 4 cases, 4 recoveries
Kwaebibirem – 3cases, 3 Recoveries
Yilo Krobo 3 cases, 3 recoveries
Upper Manya Krobo – 2 cases, 2 recoveries
Atiwa East – 2 cases, no recovery
Akwapim South – 1 case one Recovery
Ayensuano – 1case, 1 recovery
Okere – 1case, 1 Recovery
Kwahu South – 1, no recovery
Upper West Akim – 1, no recovery
As of Saturday, 27th June 2020, our country has recorded seventeen thousand, three hundred and fifty-one (17,351) confirmed cases, with twelve thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four (12,994) recoveries, representing some seventy-five percent (75%) of positives. This means that, currently, we have four thousand, two hundred and forty-five (4,245) active cases, having conducted two hundred and ninety-four thousand, eight hundred and sixty-seven (294,867) tests, one of the highest on the continent. Thirty (30) persons are severely and critically ill, and we have a total of one hundred and twelve (112) sad deaths, constituting 0.6% of positives, as we maintain one of the lowest death rates in the world.
