Members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been challenged to capitalize on the demise of the party’s former General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, and work hard towards the December general elections to attain victory.
“It is the only way to honor the hard work of the late scribe as he represented the party at the grassroots” Nana Kofi Akomea, NPP Communicator has stated.
According to him, Sir John, as affectionately called was known for his remorse character as he brings everyone on board without considering one’s ethnic, religious, educational, or financial background.
“He touted himself as a ‘village’ graduate and was down to everyone he comes across because also comes from a small town in the Ashanti region. He was there for the grassroots so it is time for supporters to work hard for victory come December to honor what Sir John stood for” Nana Kofi Akomea emphasized.
The Communicator added that the Akufo-Addo led government has done a lot within the past three years and urged Ghanaians to renew his mandate to be able to complete projects already initiated.
