National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo has warned Ghana Police Service to arrest the murderers who were involved in killing the 28-year-old student in Banda during the ongoing new voter’s registration exercise.
According to him, the culprits were concerned members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The student died later at the hospital after he was stabbed with a knife.
George Opare Addo stated that the perpetrators were arrested by the police but later they were released.
The National Youth Organizer on the ticket of the NDC addressing a press conference stated that the suspects belong to the NPP vigilante groups.
According to him, their job and mission are to carry on this fight into the December 7 election.
He added that the NDC as a political party will fish out the people involved in the act and hand them over to the authorities.
“We have no other alternative than to find these hooligans, arrest them hand them over to the authorities,” he said.
