His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has disclosed that the country needs a stronger economy system to execute projects in the country.
According to the First Gentleman of the Nation, his government are working towards establishing a strong economic system as he believes building a strong economy makes a nation great and better.
The President made this assertion during an interview with Mohammed Zunurene on Sunrise FM in Koforidua.
He revealed this to explain reasons why some projects are delayed in the country.
Adding that, his sole aim is to build a better Ghana for all citizens but it can’t be achieved if the economy is weak and unstable.
“Constructing roads, building hospitals, planting food and jobs are not cheap projects, they are actually very expensive and the country needs a stronger economy to accomplish all of that and that is exactly what my government is working towards”, he stated.
He however assured his people that the NPP government are doing their best to ensure that and that is why most projects are being executed.
