National Chairman of the governing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay has dismissed claims by the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama that government is intimidating some ethnic groups as they register for their Voters ID card.
During a press conference on Tuesday, August 4, in Accra, Freddie Blay described the political tactics by the NDC and its flagbearer as inferior communist tactics.
The national party chairman also described baseless accusations by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that government and the president are supervising an exercise to prevent ‘Voltarians’ and other non-Akans from participating in the ongoing registration exercise.
He added that Voltarians must not to be used by the opposition in their quest to champion what he describes as dangerous ethnocentric agenda.
“Reject the former President John Mahama’s and vote for a party that cares about the welfare of the people,” He urged.
