The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has inaugurated Eastern Regional Campaign Team for 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Election.
Some top members of the 43 -member campaign team are; John Owusu Amankra – Regional Chairman, Cudjoe Adupko – Regional Secretary, William Atamudzi – Regional Vice Chairman, George Mensah Akpalu – Regional Vice Chairman, Hackman Kabore- Regional Organizer, Haj. Sampson Kwarkwa – Regional Treasurer, Darlas A. Williams – Regional Communications Officer, Emmanuel Okai Mintah – Regional Youth Organizer.
The rest are Shirley Naana Osei Ampem- Regional Women’s Organizer, Alhaji Sani Mohammed Issah- Regional Zango Caucus Coordinator, Jamal Konneh- Director of Elections, Thomas Ofori Appiah- Director of I.T, Antwi Bosiako Sekyere, Magnus Kofi Amoatey, Joseph Amanquanor, Anthony Gyampo, Mabel Totobi Kwakye, Bismark Tawiah Boateng, Madam Evelyn Korang, Basil Ahiable, and 23 other members.
The National Chairman of the NDC Samuel Ofosu Ampofo who inaugurated the campaign team said the mandate of the Campaign Committee is to execute the Party’s campaign in the region adding that “the party has developed a blueprint for the campaign that the blueprint will be made available to the various campaign committees to execute. Also, the regional Campaign teams are supposed to move within two weeks into the Constituencies and inaugurate the Constituency campaign teams and then together support the Constituencies to inaugurate the branch task forces. Every polling station must have a Taskforce.”
The Regional Vice Chairman, William Atamudzi said, the Party is targeting to increase its vote margin significantly in the home region of the President to help secure victory for John Dramani Mahama.
