The New Patriotic Party will hold a steering committee meeting today, Tuesday, 11th August 2020 to validate and accept a date for the unveiling Manifesto for December election.
General Secretary of the Party, Mr. John Boadu at a press conference they will launch 2020 manifesto on August 22, 2020.
According to him, Tuesday’s Steering committee meeting will also have a National Council, which is the second-highest decision-making body in the absence of the Annual Delegates Conference to launch the manifesto.
He revealed that the manifesto will be heartwarming policies detailing to transform Ghana for the benefit of all.
Recently, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama received a copy of the party’s manifesto for Election 2020 expected to be launched in August end.
The manifesto committee of the NDC handed a copy of the document to Mr. Mahama on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
Announcing the receipt of the document in a Facebook post, Mr. Mahama said the manifesto will represent his social contract with Ghanaians as he seeks to lead the country again.
“I have received a copy of our manifesto for the December 2020 elections from the Manifesto Working Committee.
“This document, The People’s Manifesto, will represent the NDC and my social contract with the good people of Ghana”.
“I thank you all for your contributions to the compilation, and as I have promised, I look forward to the Policy Dialogue Series through which I will be sharing details of the various sectors and themes of the Manifesto,” he stated.
