A total of 812 hand pump boreholes have been completed along with 476 mechanized boreholes across the country.

Also: • Processes have started to construct the Eastern and Western railway lines as well as Ghana- Burkina Faso railway •Construction of the new standard gauge Western Line (Takoradi to Kumasi) has commenced. The Kojokrom to Manso section of 22km is ongoing. • Tema- Mpakadan railway line (97km) is ongoing. Approximately 56km of the track laying has been completed • Railway Training School in Sekondi is complete.
