The Member of Parliament for Abirem Constituency, John Osei Frimpong has presented a motorbike, 2 laptop, and 2 desktop computers, assorted drugs, and about fifteen thousand pieces of nose masks to the Birim North District Health Directorate.
The Lawmaker also paid GHS10,000 to register the District Health Director’s vehicle for comprehensive insurance cover.
The move is part of an effort to improve quality health care delivery in the area.
Dr. Sakyi Atta Larbi, Medical Superintendent of Abirem Government Hospital on behalf of the health directorate received the items with gratitude and appealed for more incentives for health personnel in the district.
The Abirem MP continued his developmental drive by presenting 500 street lights to be distributed to various communities in the District to improve upon security.
He (MP) has also procured 10,000 dual desks to be distributed to various schools in the constituency to help teaching and learning when schools reopen in October 2020.
