The Member of Parliament for Upper West Akyem Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Derek Ohene Bekoe has told widows and needy in his area then there will be hope and positive changes in standard of living from 2021 of Ghanaians give the nod for Mr.John Mahama and the NDC to return to government.
He said Ghanaians are now disappointed in the Nana Akuffo-Addo led administration over high cost of living and urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP in December general elections.
Honorable Derek Ohene Bekoe said this at Mepom when he donated over 250 Textiles and cooked food, worth Thousands of Ghana cedis to widows in the area to motivate them and remind them that he as their Member of Parliament care for them.
He said although his party is in opposition he has lobbied for many projects and has used his monthly salary and common fund to construct a toilet, classroom blocks, Community Health Planning Centers, Scholarship for brilliant but needy students and Entrepreneurship training among others.
The legislature, who was first DCE for the District from 2012 to 2016 vowed to share the constituency cake for all communities to benefit and urged them to support him and re-consider him in December general elections.
