Ahead of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7th in Ghana, two opposition Political Parties have elected women as their Presidential Candidate for the battle.
The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and National Democratic Party (NDP) have acclaimed Ms. Brigitte Dzogbenuku and former First Lady, Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings as their flag bearers respectively.
Ms. Dzogbenuku will become the second female flag bearer after a former First Lady, Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings who was the 2016 Candidate while Ms. Dzogbenuku was the PPP running mate of the party in the 2016 general election.
