The Communications Director of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Mr. Felix Mantey has said the Party is preparing to outdoor running mate and Manifesto before October 2020.
According to him, the Party will consider a man as the running mate to partner Ms. Brigitte Dzogbenuku, who was acclaimed and endorsed as the flag bearer over the weekend.
In an interview, Mr. Felix Mantey said Ghana is ready for a female President and Ghanaians are calling for change due to failure by the NDC and NPP since 1992.
Meanwhile, Mr. Felix Mantey has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) as matter of urgency to go back and review GH¢100,000 filing fee fixed by the for the 2020 presidential election.
He said the EC is trying to make Democracy expensive and added that Ghana’s Political Position is turning to be for the rich.
Today, Wednesday, September 16, the PPP will have its national committee meeting and it would be discussed the way forward for the fee and other Party activities.
