President Akufo-Addo has stated emphatically that he is not ready to work with any independent parliamentarian in his next government should he win the December 7 elections.
Speaking at Manso in the Asene-Manso-Akroso as part of his 3-days tour to the Eastern region on Sunday 4th October 2020, President Akufo-Addo urged the people in the area to vote against any member of the NPP who is willing to contest against the incumbent MP, Mr. George Aboagye (Oluwa).
According to him, the party hierarchy supports the candidature of the incumbent and therefore appealed to party supporters to disregard anyone who intends to go independent against the ruling NPP.
In response to a request by the traditional council for Agricultural College and a University, President Akufo-Addo pledged to address the Agricultural College as a matter of concern and also urged the council to exercise restraint for the University as it would be addressed later.
He, however, called on electorates to vote massively for him and all the parliamentary candidates of the NPP to ensure overwhelming victory for the party come December 7.
