The Chief of Suhum Osabarima Ayeh Kofi says the Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress, in Suhum Amanda Okyere Kwatia, is making “a lot of headway” into victory.
The NDC Parliamentary Candidate will be battling the Suhum seat with New Patriotic Party’s Boafo Kwadwo Asante who defeated the incumbent MP Opare Ansah in the NPP Primaries.
Speaking during a courtesy call on the Suhum traditional council by the running mate of the NDC Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, on Friday as she rounds up her five -day tour of the Eastern Region, the Chief of Suhum said, Suhum Constituency is gradually becoming a swing area citing results of previous elections.
He said the people are discerning therefore make decisions based on issues and competence.
He advised the NDC to tell the people their achievements in the area and what they intend to do if they win power to make an informed choice on December 7, 2020.
Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang thanked the Suhum Chief and elders for the warm reception assuring that the next NDC government will not forget the people of Suhum in sharing the national cake.
