Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Edward Nii Odoom opened camping with his outfit three weeks ago and the latter is impressed with the physical condition of the players as they prepare for the forthcoming season.
Odoom, who recently predicted that his outfits will win the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title to break the trophy drought jinx is optimistic the players will be in shape before the season starts.
“My boys are coping very well with the training. Their condition is very good since we started hitting the gym, beach and the field works though we are yet to kick the ball”
“We have not kicked the ball since we started training and there is a plan for that. We have six weeks to prepare for the league and we have to prepare them well. We have 34 matches to play plus FA Cup matches so the players must be fit for the upcoming season” he said.
The Ghana Premier League is set to return on November 13 as Hearts of Oak will take on Aduana Stars in Dormaa in matchday one.
