Public Relations Officer of Brekum Chelsea, Isaac Amponsah has vehemently stated that no Ghanaian club being it Hearts of Oak or Kotoko can afford to purchase their skipper, Zakaria Fuseini.
An earlier report in the local media suggested that the towering guardsman could join either Hearts of Oak or Legon Cities FC ahead of the new season.
Despite denying the report he has insisted no club in the country that can afford the transfer fee of the player.
“No club in Ghana can afford Zakaria’s transfer fee.” He told Ash FM.
Zakaria Fuseini has been a pillar at the backlines set-up of the 2010 Ghana Premier League champions since joining them in 2016.
It is believed that the Black Meteors guardsman favours a move abroad rather than a move to another GPL club. According to reports, Clubs from the United States have shown interest in the player.
He was part of the Black Meteors squad that participated in the 2019 Under-23 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
