Report reaching mybrytfmonline.com indicates that a fuel tanker vehicle has fallen on a private Saloon car at the Chop bar area near the Excel Filling station in Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region.
The driver of the private car is reportedly trapped in the car gasping for air as he calls for help.
“One person in the saloon car trapped could be heard shouting for help “help me, help me.”
According to Bryt FM’s Senior Correspondent Kwaku Ansah, an eyewitness narrated that the accident occurred when the fuel tanker transporting petrol towards Nsawam direction was crossed by a motorbike, which the tanker driver tried to save the rider but the tanker driver lost control of the steering wheel, crashed and dragged the private saloon car before crushing it.
He said officials of Ghana National Fire Service are at the scene working hard to rescue the victim and prevent an explosion.
