The Deputy Director of the National Youth Authority, Akosua Asaa Manu, has indicated that the opposition National Democratic Congress can copy everything NPP but not the ruling party’s competence.
Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Show on Monday, October 19, 2020, Akosua Manu, popularly known as Kozie Ozie Manu, emphasized that the opposition NDC has walked back to pick every good policy they rejected from the NPP and is busily propagating same as policies they would continue with if voted for.
“The only thing the NDC cannot copy from the New Patriotic Party is competence. They can plagiarize all our policies and programmes but the incompetence of John Mahama cannot be changed” the Deputy Director for National Youth Authority emphadized.
Kozie said this on the back of the claim made by her co-panelist on the show, Zita Benson, who said the NPP has copied the manifesto promises of the NDC for the 2020 polls.
Zita further claimed that the Mahama administration fixed dumsor, left the dollar rate to the cedi at 3.3, claims which were disputed by Akosua with concrete facts.
The out-of-sorts NDC communicator was fumbling throughout the show as her long absence from politics and her ignorance of major happenings in the country could be seen weighing on her.
Zita sought to attack the personality of Kozie and her family as she could not keep up with the competent communicator of the ruling NPP. The Deputy Director of the National Youth Authority maturely refrained from walking the same tangent Zita used as her focus was on the incompetence of Mahama and the NDC as a whole.
