Loudoun United forward Elvis Amoh says he is hoping Raphael Dwamena could recover in time to continue his football career after seeing his contract terminated with Danish top-flight side Vejle BK due to a recent heart problem.
The club announced on Monday, 26 October 2020, they have been forced to withdraw the Ghana striker from the pitch.
However, the former Asante Kotoko striker has some words of encouragement to the Black Stars forward, wishing him well while he continues his recovery.
“It’s worrying but I will wish him well to get back stronger. In situations like this, we give thanks to God because he knows best but I believe he will return in due time to continue his career” he told Bryt FM in Koforidua.
Dwamena’s heart problem was identified during his loan spell at Real Zaragoza last year and had his spell cancelled.
The Levante-owned player had a heart operation in January, where the 25-year-old attacker had an ICD-Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator-to keep track of the heart rate.
But after suffering another setback he has been ruled out indefinitely.
