Newly signed goalkeeper of Medeama SC Frank Boateng says he is ready for the challenge after sealing a transfer to the Yellow and Mauves ahead of the season.
He penned a three-year deal with the club after ending his three-year stints with Ashantigold SC.
Boateng faces stern competition from Eric Ofori Antwi who is currently the clubs’ number shot-stopper.
But according to him he is ready to fight for a place in the team.
“I don’t fear competition, as a goalkeeper you need to pass through challenges. You cannot always have things easy. During my time with Ashantigold, there was competition because Robert Dabo was available at the time but I was able to make it. I’m looking forward to achieving with Medeama” he said.
The Ghana Premier League is set to return next month after six months of inactive football.
