Burgeoning female dancehall artiste, Queen Haizel has categorically averred that fornication is the reason why she can’t do gospel music.
According to her, she chose dancehall out of all other genres, because her sex life is very strong, and she doing gospel will make her feel she is mocking God and deceiving herself.
Queen Haizel disclosed this in an interview with Forster on eTV Ghana.
Her reaction came after she was asked by the host if her leading a gospel session will be a challenge for her, Queen Haizel averred that
“l can but I wouldn’t. It’s not that I don’t like God but I feel like when I do gospel, I’m not supposed to fornicate and do other minor things but if I choose to do gospel, I’ll still be doing those things and it will be like I’m deceiving God and myself”.
She continued by saying she doesn’t want to preach something in her song and practice a different one, however, she is not going to be doing the only dancehall but will instead change to other genres when the need arises.
