Asante Kotoko board member Alhaji Abu Lamine is confident his outfit can make a positive impact in the upcoming Africa inter-club competition.
The Porcupine Warriors is set to represent the country in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League competition and according to Lamine; the club can make it in Africa.
The Kumasi based club will know their opponent today, November 9, 2020, as the continent football governing body (CAF) makes the draw for the preliminary stages.
“Before deciding to go to Africa, the board dialogued and arrived at a point that if any club will not go to Africa then it’s not Kotoko”
“Financially we are capable and so, apart from the support from the government the board is capable of handling the club expenses. I think with the support from our fans we can make it in Africa” he said.
