A 24-year-old man has been attacked with a cutlass over Ghc5 worth of bread.
The incident occurred at Nkurakan in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region last night.
The victim, Ayittey Joshua told mybrytfmonline.com that “When I was returning home in the evening, I bought ghc5 worth of bread .so I met Tetteh Daabi whom a play a lot with. He collected the bread that he is holding to escort me home. I was with another friend. Then all of a sudden Tettey Daabi varnished with the bread.”
He continued that, “So my friend told me we should go and search for him in his house but while in the house he entered with cutlass threatening to kill us. It was an ambush, I had nothing to defend myself so he attacked me with a cutlass. Cut my knee, my upper arm, and my back”
The victim has since been treated and discharged by Doctors.
A CID at Nkrukan Police station however said the case was yet to be reported to the police.
