Former Ghana U-23 midfielder Michael Agbepkornu has been named as the new captain of Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC.
Prior to the start of the 2020/2021 season, the technical team of the Still Believe lads Dreams announced new captaincy structure.
Michael Agbepkornu will lead the team as the main captain with Abdul Jalilu and Charles Lucio Osei serving as vice-captains
Agbepkornu, the national U23 star has been an integral member of the first team since making his debut in a still believe shirt, and his exemplary lifestyle has merited this recent development.
Abdul Jalilu, a commanding figure both on and off the pitch has been a vocal member of the squad and will now officially have a role to lead his colleagues. Whiles Lucio who is one of the most experienced members of the squad will also serve as one of the two deputy captions.
The team will play its first Premier League game against Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on a Monday night.
