Ebusua Dwarfs goalkeeper Razak Issah, has reacted after scoring a goal from a set-piece in matchday one of the Ghana Premier League against Elmina Sharks at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Dwarfs were held to a 2-2 draw at home on Sunday and it was the goalkeeper who came up with a beautiful drive with some few minutes to end proceedings.
His goal has gotten public attention because of his role as a goalkeeper to have scored from a set-piece.
Reacting to his goal from the set-piece, he said, “I was not afraid when I went behind the ball. I told my mates that if there was any free-kick, I was going to score”.
“This is not the first time I have done this. I scored against Liberty Professionals in the Normalization Committee Special Competition. So I had the courage to do it”,
“It’s something I have been practicing so I am good at it”, he added.
Ebusua Dwarfs travel to play Eleven Wonders in their matchday two fixture of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
