Premier League side Liberty Professionals were held to a 1-1 draw by lower-tier side Okyeman Planners in a pulsating encounter at the Koforidua All Nations University Park.
As part of their preparation for the start of the Ghana Premier League, the two sides met to test the strength and level of their preparation so far.
Okyeman Planners took the lead in the first half through Richard Kotey before Tamimu Muntari leveled the pegging for Liberty Professionals in the second half from the spot to make sure the spoils are shared.
Both teams received the matching of orders from the referee due to the unhealthy play from both sides during the second half.
It was a game of two halves with Okyeman Planners dominating the first half and Liberty Professionals also taking the second half by storm.
The draw means Okyaman Planners are yet to lose a game at their newly adopted home venue after beating Hearts of Oak 1-0 during the week in retrospect.
The kick-off date for the Ghana Premier League has been slated for December 27, 2019.
