The 2020 manifesto of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been described as “sakawa”, according to Kwame Baffoe, the Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking on Wontumi Tv on Saturday, 21st November 2020, Abronye DC as affectionately called indicated that the manifesto of the NDC is a scam and that the party has nothing good to offer Ghanaians.
He insisted the NDC’s manifesto is full of deceit, indicating that the party has not been able to deliver on its promises since the inception of democratic governance.
He alleged that the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has no credibility to spearhead the so-called manifesto promises as he performed woefully as a Vice President and a President.
Mr. Kwame Baffoe, however, emphasized it is only the Akufo-Addo led NPP government that can be trusted to deliver on its promises, mentioning the many policies and interventions implemented within the past four years.
He mentioned the 1D1F policy, free SHS, one constituency one ambulance, COVID-19 relief packages, 1m dollars per constituency, among many others.
He, however, called on electorates to consider extending the mandate of President Akufo-Addo to do more for Ghanaians.
