The Ghana Police Service and the Electoral Commission have released hotlines for complaints on Election Day on December 7.
The Ghana Police Service mobile phone number 0206639121 will be available for persons to send videos, audios, and photographs of any disturbance on Election Day.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and Chairman of the National Election Security Taskforce, Mr. James Oppong Branch, who announced this said the police toll-free numbers 18555, 191, and 112, will also be available for people to call.
He also announced the following numbers: 0302773906, 0302787373, 0550323323, and 0275000156 for phone calls.
In a related development, the Electoral Commission (EC) has opened a toll free number, 0800-100-100 for complaints.
In a statement dated December 3, 2020, the Commission said the center will enable voters to relay their concerns and feedbacks to it on Election Day.
According to the statement, the call center will be managed by the trained staff of the EC.
The statement indicated that the objective of the call center was to provide prompt responses to voters to improve the voting experiences on Election Day.
