Managing Editor of Joy Daddy Multimedia, Nuwordu Kwaku Solomon has been threatened by the Eastern Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Omar Bodinga over alleged campaigning on election day.
Seen in a branded t-shirt at a polling center in the Abuakwa North municipality with the inscription “4MORE4” written at the front, Alhaji Bodinga Bodinga is alleged to be campaigning on the party’s slogan “4more4 Nana”.
Speaking on Bryt FM election coverage on Monday, 7th December 2020, Alhaji Bodinga threatened to instigate a physical attack on the managing editor who broke the news earlier in his reportage.
“I am telling management of Bryt FM that if you don’t take Solo from here, we will beat him by evening time. He is not telling you the truth at all” Alhaji stated.
He stressed that the idea behind his decision to wear the shirt is to campaign ahead of the NPP’s internal elections yet to be held.
Meanwhile, the election has kick start across the region with no unforeseen activity yet to be recorded at any polling center.
