A Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG), Kwesi Jonah has charged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to safeguard the peace and stability of this country.
According to him, the two main political parties should come together to settle the disputes concerning the 2020 election result declared by the Electoral Commission.
In an interview with Accra-based TV station, Mr Jonah advised the two parties to normalize such dialogue.
Mr Jonah stated that the two leading parties are shouting at each other adding that they are not communicating with each other.
Mr Jonah called for a dialogue between the NDC and the NPP on post-election tensions to tackle the dispute over declared results.
