US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie S. Sullivan has advised political parties to pursue legal channels for any electoral disputes in order to bring peace and harmonious living in the country.
The US Ambassador pleaded with the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to go to court after the declaration by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa.
During the discussion of the recent election, the US representative urged the 2020 Presidential Candidate, Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC and all political parties to use appropriate channels to settle their electoral disputes.
The US Ambassador met with the former President John Dramani Mahama just a week after he rejected the results of the 2020 polls.
