Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain Joseph Hendricks has advised the management of the club to engage former players in their operations in order to steer them in the right direction.
Hendricks, a member of the Asante Kotoko squad that lost the 2004 CAF Confederations to sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in an interview with Hot FM entreated the current management to bring the former players of the club on board so they can help raise the standards in the team.
“The current management of Kotoko needs to involve old players in both management and technical team for them to impact knowledge to the current players,” he said.
“During our time we play to save lives and I think current footballers need to lift up their game and learn more on their Job to achieve success for the club because is a religion” he concluded.
