Former Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko Jarvis Peprah has charged the players ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Sudanese giants, Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with A Hilal this afternoon in the 2nd round of the preliminary fixture first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium and according to Mr Peprah, he expects the players to die for the club in order to secure a vital home win.
“I’m pleading with the current Kumasi Asante Kotoko players to fight hard for us to get us victory today against Al Hilal of Sudan. They should die for us and win. All the fans are behind them in today’s game so they should deliver for us today” he told Hot FM in an interview.
The Kumasi based club have failed to make it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League in about 13 years and are hoping to break that jinx in the ongoing campaign.
