Former Hearts of Oak and Halmstads BK Sadat Karim has described new Asante Kotoko recruit Fabio Gama Dos Santos as one of the players he has shared the pitch with.
The Kumasi-based club completed the signing of the Brazilian on a free transfer in October in their quest to strengthen their team for the 2020/2021 football season.
A session of Ghanaians is believed to have raised concerns about the capabilities of the former Brazil U-17 and U-20 player but Sadat Karim, who played in the same league with Gama some time ago says he is a good player.
Despite expressing the believe Fabio Gama can make impact with the Porcupines he indicated that the bad state of pitches in the country might affect his play.
‘I saw Fabio Gama in the Swedish league even though we were playing for different clubs. He’s very good”
“His control and everything is perfect but the only thing I am afraid of is the kind of pitches we have in the country and the whether condition” he told Pure FM.
Fabio Gama is yet to make his debut for the Porcupine Warriors.
