Former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor has advised Asante Kotoko players to play as a team and desist from individual achievements.
The Porcupine Warriors prior to their game against Dreams FC called on the former President at his residence in Peduase.
In spite of that, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) entreated the playing body to get a collective strategy in order to reach their goals.
“You are called a team because it is not one person. No one can play various positions on the field. You need to get a collective strategy, team. You can dribble as many as you can but if you don’t score, you lose”
He continued, “You will be able to win if you play as a unit. Player scouting has improved late so if you play well for the club you will benefit from it. Football has become money. I know there is Asamoah Gyan’s in the team so all you need to do is to play together as a team and flourish” he said.
