A total of 1,400 Aged Men and Women have received Christmas packages from Member of Parliament for Asene-Manso-Akroso Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region, Honorable George Kwame Aboagye.
The items include Bags of Rice, boxes of Cooking Oil, and Assorted Cloths and each of the beneficiaries went home with Rice, a bottle of Oil, and a half piece of cloth as a Christmas gift from the Member of Parliament at a separate colorful ceremony in the Constituency.
Honourable George Kwame Aboagye, popularly known as Oluwa who was re-elected for a second term as MP said the donation forms part of his social responsibilities.
The Legislature said the kind gesture will continue in the coming years and expressed gratitude to the Constituents for giving him a second term in office as well as maintaining Nana Akufo-Addo in Office as President.
He promised to do extraordinary work in his second term and asked the people in the area to support the NPP’s administration to succeed to change the lives of the people and continue its developmental projects that began in the first term in office.
