The New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament elect for Bebiani Anhwianso Bekwai constituency in the Western North Region, Alfred Obeng Boateng, has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to consider the appointment of more MPs in the Region to Ministerial and key government positions.
In an interview with Kwame Kontor Boateng of Lord FM, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng stated that the people of Sefwi have appreciated the NPP government’s policies and programs hence translated into massive votes during the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary election for president Akufo-Addo as compare to previous elections where the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) always widens the gab with over 100,000 votes difference.
He said the residents of Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Constituency cannot deny their share of ministerial appointment for maintaining the seat for NPP and also voting massively for the presidential for the past years.
Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng stated the people of Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Constituency and Western North as a whole should continue to have confidence in him and Nana Akufo-Addo for his second term because more developmental projects and social intervention policies will commence after the swearing-in of Akufo-Addo.
He however appealed to make the area the stronghold of the NPP.
