The domestic football governing body (GFA) is set to announce an insurance package for players plying their trade in the Ghana Premier League, the communications officer of the FA has confirmed.
Other beneficiaries of the insurance package will be the Division One League clubs, Women’s Premier League clubs, referees and match commissioners.
Speaking to Gye Nyame FM, Henry Asante said, “We are working on getting insurance sponsor to insure all the players of the 18 premier league clubs, 48 division one league clubs and the 16 women’s premier league clubs as well as referees and match commissioners”
“We are almost done with that and very soon we will announce it” he said.
