The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has stated that, former president was visionless, adding that he was only happy performing ceremonial duties and being referred to as President.
According to him, it was a regret, in the history of Ghana, to have a President in the person of former President Mahama.
He said it was a waste of time and space for Ghana to have been put in the hands of former President Mahama.
In Mr. Antwi-Boasiako view, Mr Mahama became president as a result of the untimely passing of the late Prof. Mills. For this reason, he asserted that Mr. Mahama became leader by accident and had absolutely no plans as president.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has stated that President Nana Akufo-Addo has proven that he is God sent and a man with vision when it comes to the way he has handled the economy of Ghana.
The NPP Chairman also known as Chairman Wontumi stated that when the vision and performance of President Akufo-Addo is compared to his immediate predecessor, it becomes evidently clear that Mr. Mahama failed to serve Ghana well.
“President Akufo-Addo is God sent and is a man with vision. When you compare him to Mahama you see that he (Mahama) only came to revel in his post.
President Akufo-Addo is a visionary leader. This country would’ve have broken down if God had not given him to us at this time”, Chairman Wontumi said.
