A spokesperson for Ghana star Thomas Teye Partey, Samuel Ziga has rubbished reports claiming the deputy skipper of the Black Stars has been sacked from camp by Coach C. K. Akonnor.
Earlier reports in the local media suggested that the Arsenal midfielder has been sacked from the Black Stars camp after failing to report to the Black Stars camp in Cape Coast but only joined the team when they were about to travel to Morocco.
But according to the PRO, Partey could not travel to Morocco with his teammates due to health issues.
“It’s never true Thomas Partey has been sacked from camp by Coach CK Akonnor” he told Starr Sports.
“He went there to seek permission based on health grounds because he even came with a Physio“
