Ghana international Gideon Mensah is on the verge of joining French Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux from Red Bull Salzburg in the ongoing transfer window.
The enterprising left-back had a decent campaign during his loan spell with Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
Despite his outstanding performance Vitoria Guimaraes was unable to sign him permanently.
He returned to his parent club after the loan spell last season.
According to transfer expert Fabricio Romano, an agreement is set to be reached between the player and Bordeaux and could join in the coming days.
He will join on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the 2021/22 season.
