Koforidua Suhyen Sporting Club (KSSC) have booked their place in the final of the 2020/21 Eastern Region Division Two middle league following a convincing 7-2 win over Talon FC in final day matches in Group A.
The Suhyen-based club who is determined to secure promotion to the Division One League next season put up a splendid performance to defeat Talon FC, emerging as Group A winners.
Before the final day matches in Group A, Great Warriors were on top of the table with 4 points and were being trailed by KSSC who had 3 points.
However, following Great Warriors 4-1 to Fotobiman FC at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu, Koforidua Suhyen Sporting Club have secured qualification to the final of the middle league.
They finished as Group A winners with 6 points whereas Great Warriors placed second with 4 points.
Koforidua Suhyen Sporting Club will wait for the winner of Group B which comprises Okwawu United, Kwaebibirem United, KK Adonteng, and Mampong Unique FC.
Meanwhile, the final game which is scheduled for Sunday, September 19, 2021, has been put on hold by the Eastern Region Football Association due to a pending case between Okwawu United and Kwaebibirem United.
