Ashantigold has rejected an offer from Medeama to sign goalkeeper Kofi Mensah ahead of next season.
Mensah enjoyed a descent 2020/21 campaign despite joining the miner’s middle of the season.
He has become a subject of interest for clubs including the Yellow and Mauves following his superlative performance last season.
The Tarkwa based club is in search of a replacement for Eric Ofori Antwi and Frank Boateng who left the club at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
The former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper is reported to have joined Legon Cities whereas Frank Boateng’s contract was terminated at the end of the season over an uninspiring performance.
But according to reports, Ashantigold has turned down Medeama’s offer for their goalkeeper.
