President Akufo-Addo also commissioned the newly constructed Administration Block of the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region worth GH¢3,442,539.45.
The contract was awarded to Messers King Dwosco Enterprise Limited with a contract sum of GH¢3,442,539.45 with EcoPlanners & Engineering Consult as consultants to the project.
It will be recalled that the New Juaben South Municipal was carved out in 2017 by a Legislative Instrument (LI) 2302.
The President, as part of his working visit to the Eastern Region, is expected to commission similar edifice for Okere, Birim South, and Asene-Manso-Akroso District respectively.
The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) in November 2017 laid a Legislative Instrument (LI) before Parliament for the creation of 38 districts in Ghana and the Eastern Region had seven new Districts.
