The 2020 Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is expected to end his nationwide ‘thank you’ tour today, Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Mr Mahama has toured all the 16 regions of Ghana to thank the electorates for their motivations, prayers and support in the 2020 elections.
The former President is expected to speak to the good people of Ghana on the theme, #thankGhana, Social Justice & A Sustainable Economy.
“To formally end the tour and extend his thanks to Ghanaians on a national platform, Mr Mahama will at 5.30 pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, speak to Ghanaians on the theme, #thankGhana, Social Justice & A Sustainable Economy at the Kempinski Gold Coast City, Accra,” the statement added.
A statement signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, a Special Aide to the former President, indicated that this public engagement will formally end the thank-you tour.
“Today, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, John Dramani Mahama will end his #thankGhana tour of the sixteen regions of the country to show his appreciation to his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman, the NDC Parliamentary Candidates and the Party to Ghanaians for their support and votes in the recent 2020 general elections,” the statement noted.
